Power locks and dash clock suddenly stopped working
Hey guys!
Been a while since I posted but got a new surprise with my '99 XJR...
After experiencing some very heavy rains for days straight here in 'Sunny FL'
I noticed my power locks have stopped working with the key and when I open the drivers side door on the interior along with the clock on the dash. Any suggestions as to what may have caused this and proper replacement?
Thanks in advance!

I know what your saying about the rain (I'm on the east side of town off the 417), dang tropical storms, its keeping me from pulling out my Vette and replacing the manifold.
Check your module in the door, you need to disconnect it for a couple minutes and reconnect. Some folks may also say to disconnect the battery and let it bleed off. Its obviously easier to do the battery, but I prefer to remove it at the source. If the battery doesn't work, then go to the module.
I'm not sure about the clock issue, could be a connection behind the dash.

According to Jaguar, to do a hard reset, disconnect the neg. batt. cable and touch it to the positive post for a few seconds. You definitely should not disconnect it while the ignition is anywhere but off.
They also say you should disconnect the battery before proceeding with any work on modules or other electrical components.

Thanks for the replies guys...Yup hard reset is my go-to fix but with no prevail, its still doing it. As reliable as shes been running, I've had some weird electrical woes with this one. Including the drivers side window not rolling down, and sunroof not opening (will work for a couple days after hard reset then back to nothing) and now this with similar results.
I'm wondering if my BCM is the root of the (overall) problem? Could that be a possibility?
