Hi gents,

By any chance, does anyone know if the front brake hoses for Brembo brakes of the XJ series is interchangeable with the brake hoses of the XK series?
As the XK hoses (C2N3107) cost almost a third of the price of the XJ hoses (MXD5670BC) it's a tempting idea to replace mine with the XK hoses.
I'd guess that the fittings/connections to the body's brake lines as the ones to the calipers are identical, the difference between the XK and XJ hoses lies in their length, right?

Just a quick answer for now Yes, I have XKR-R braided front lines fitted, a thing I noticed over the XJR - length, a little longer so I get them ziptied. I'll try and confirm part numbers later today...

 

Thanks Sean for your reply! That's awesome! I think the additional length is of no problem, since they can surely ziptied away a bit. The opposite way with the XK Brembo lines being shorter than the XJ lines would be much more of a problem due to more stress on them when turning the wheels.

Goodridge make stainless braided lines for the XK with Brembos too, which is what I've ordered for my conversion, as per everyone's recommendations.

I didn't look at prices for genuine, but the Goodridge's were very well priced.

Yeah, I was looking for the Goodridges too. @grandell: Did you use the XK Brembo lines for a XJ or on a XK?
