The Lexus was over $60K+ whatever mods investment this guy must have invested, so for me to be able to give him a good run was entertaining.
So, why did you remove the nitrous? It can only help...
A 35 shot over and above would've been enough to beat that Toyota

Cheers

I never got a good rpm signal that my controller could use.
Also, I realized I am content with the 475 hp I have right now.
There will always be something that is a little faster out there.
If my car proves to be reliable as it is, then I would have made a good decision of not taking it further and damaging something. I am running 17 lbs of boost right now on stock head gaskets and bolts.
It feels good right now, so I am hopeful the current set up can last another 3+ years without any major issues.
The only further changes I am currently planning are some small brake upgrades and to make my inter cooler sprayer spray automatically when the water/meth injection kicks in. This could/should add another 10 hp or so. That would put me at approx 485. As cookie monster says "Good enough for me."

Dammmmnnnnn that is fast in the open air.

I really don't know what the point of having lots of HP is unless you use it

Ya got ta let the dogs out once in a while, God forbid I ever got any carbon build up anywhere

We have been looking into these little Hyabusa powered race cars with lots of downforce as some possible future toys.

The two ends of the comfort spectrum. Cadillac and stripped down, no frills performance!

The XJR is faster stock than is a 135i Manual coupe and a manual 2012 Camaro SS, personally confirmed. This means that it is a micro-second faster than 2 cars that both do 0-60 in around 4.6s and, in the case of the Camaro, have 56hp more.

I got a ticket for Aggravated speeding recently, 25mph over. Since it was my first moving violation they reduced the fine to $300 + court fees. Just written up for
60 in a 35, it only takes a few seconds to get there! Why so illegal? You can go from 0- to -Jail in 5.2 seconds in the XJR. Luckily he didn't arrest me.

In other news, I have recently bought a 1977 Mercedes-Benz 240D 4spd Man. which has excellent fuel economy and no need for a Valentine One like the XJR. Since speeding is extremely difficult and unwise in that car.
