I am more curious here than concerned. Recently, for the time since I own the car (2.5 years), I have experienced a phenomenon where radiator fan stays on for a few minutes after turn off engine (not really a surprise there) but while that happens the radio stays on / antenna up. Few minutes later, fan switches off, radio turns off / antenna goes down. Can't think of any rationale between the radiator fan and radio ? This has happened 3 times now in as many months (Yes, this is during the 3 TX months where outdoor temperature are 100 daytime). Thoughts?

 

OK, so perhaps I add this to my list of the "gremlins living within" ;-)

 

The car will run the fan, even when switched off, if the sensors detect it's required. On hot days, it could happen for like 5 minutes when the car is shutoff.

Would be more curious why the radio is staying on. I wonder if the ignition switch thinks the key is still in the ignition? Do you have the seat/steering wheel assist turned on, where the seat moves back when you take the key out?
