Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket harness available for the 98-03 XJ8s so that I cont have to cut the car's wiring to install an aftermarket head unit? I have searched high and low and come up with nothing. Even the thread elsewhere on jaguarforums.com has not been replied to. Help help.

looks like http://www.nexxia.co.uk/car_stereo_f...its/jaguar.htm may finally have some options may want to email them and make sure before hand. Ordered one from them for my 96 vanden plas and it worked they also had the fascia adaptor for that year, looks like they still dont have the fascia adaptor for ours.
Just be cautious, I do not like putting stereos in cars with 6 fuse boxes

Thanks!
Looks like the AutoLeads PC99-X10 is the one if you want to control youe new head unit (only works with some models) and PC2-55-4 is the kit for just the harnesses. Sadly it seems they are only stocked in the UK, but the pricing is fairly reasonable. The harness also has a speed signal output (thankfully) which should make nav integraiton easier. The JVC head unit arrived, its a little rougher than I would have lived (factory reconditioned they claim) but nothing major. I'm only waiting on the bluetooth and iPod modules now.
