Hey everyone, I've used this websight for countless pieces of information and repair advice, as this is the best database I can find for anything xj8. But now I have a problem for which I can't seem to find a solution.
Sinve i've had my 1999 xj8 the radio has worked without issue when the key is in 'accessory' mode, but when the key is turned and the car is running, the radio seems to almost 'warm up' and would take around 10 minutes for any audio to play through the speakers, and another 10 minutes for the screen to display anything or allow any of the controls to function. But as of the past week or so the radio has compleatly given up

I really don't know where to begin repairing this and would gravely appreciate any direction on what to do next!

 

There are 3 fuses for power at the X308 head unit including the power amplifier . This would be a good information source .
