Radio Removal

Could someone please outline the proper sequence in removing the radio from a 2001 XJ8. I would like to do this without breaking anything. I don't feel real good about my certified car stereo installer either, I've seen them just start pulling on things until something gave way. Pics would be great also if available.
Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas
This should get you started. It's an easy procedure once you know how..... just go slow and steady, and if you have a roll of that blue painters tape handy, use it liberally to cover up surfaces to protect them from getting scratched

Why are you pulling the radio ? doing an upgrade ?
