Default Rear Bumper Chrome Blades

I had my rear bumper removed and resprayed after it was scrapped by a distracted driver while my car was stopped at a red light. The paint came out amazing, the chrome blades on the other hand are now both loose towards the centre of the bumper. I pointed it out to the advisor on pick-up and he had a tech re-glue it. I fear they broke something. Can someone please post a photo or diagram of what the mount looks like on the bumper, and on the chrome blade? Were these supposed to be glude, screwed, or clipped on? Is this something I should worry about. One has already come loose again on my way home.

Just a note, this was not done at a cheap shop. They do all the paint and body work for my local Jaguar dealer and come highly recommended.

Thank you

Looks like tabs hold it down and couple clips keep it in place from these pics-

Manual says-
1. Slacken and remove three screws securing each blade to bumper cover.
2. Slide each blade forward to release three side tangs from cover and remove blades from bumper.

convincor is correct, I just replaced a stained one on the front and I almost missed getting those underneath tabs in. In your case, there's a possibility they sheared off in the scrap and you may need new ones.

Having recently replaced these after a repaint, I agree with Highhorse about the underneath tabs (the rectangular tabs most visible in the fourth picture of convincor's link). These plastic tabs on the blade have to slip underneath metal clips attached to the bumper, and the reinstallation process can be a bit finicky. I got one blade reinstalled right on the first try, but the other one took several attempts to get all of those tabs secured.

Thank you, I am going to call the bodyshop and pass this on to them. The advisor I had was a bit of a twit. I got in a bit of a fight with him as when I arrive my car was backed into a snowbank of hard packed snow by one of their drivers. The result was a scratch in the freshly painted bumper and my passenger side tail muffler being packed full of snow.

That inspires a lot of confidence in this shop, not.

Took it back and spoke with the shop foreman. He assured me that they will be removing both chrome blades and installing them correctly without the use of glue. They will most likely have to order in a new set.
