Default Rear bumper misaligned

Cheers all...

Cosmetic problem: my rear-bumper does not finish correctly with the rear wheel-arches. PLease see pictures attached.
I actually never noticed that, until a friend of mine told me so. Does this indicate a previous accident or is this a common flaw? The rear parking sensors are working fine, btw.
As I do not have access to an auto-lift, is it possible to adjust the rear-bumper on the slip road?
How is the rear bumper fixed?
Thank you very much in advance, TAG1000

I just got finished reading your Misaligned Lid Post. With both of these things listed, and both on the same side, are you sure that you weren't recently backed into?

No, I don't think so as I the vehicle is HPI clear. The bumper is misaligned on both sides, there is no connection between both issues as I caused the boot lid misalignment myself .

tag 1000:
The bumper has two bolts that scre unward visible by looking up along the front edge at the rear of the bumper. These bolts apparently frequently corrode, so be carefule and not break them when removing. After the bolts are removed, the bumper slides forward into some mounting details on each side. I would get it apart and have a look if I were you, since your bumper system is probably compromised in some way, and with pretty good Jaguar brakes, there is a reasonable liklihood that some idiot will rear end you sooner or later.
