Rear door panel...Help Please?
Hey fellow x308 owners...I was in the process of taking my headliner out to fix the dreaded sagging issue and as I was trying to take the rear dour panel off. I unscrewed the 2 screws (1 at handle and 1 under arm rest) and popped all the plastic tree clips but I feel the panel is still holding on to something real tight as it does not wanna come loose so I can push it up and off the window sill. I'm sure I'm missing a step and if anyone can help...it would be greatly appreciated.

You have to carefully slide the wood trim panel backwards, it will release from the door panel and you can pop it off.
There is also one metal arm inside a large plastic piece in the middle of the door that you have to muscle out of the door metal, it may take the plastic part with it when you remove it so you have to carefully align it on re-assembly.

Be careful not to flex the wood trim or you will crack the finish poly.

Very useful and informative with pictures. I'm pretty sure my problem is with the metal clip that's goes into the plastic piece in the middle of the panel...and I can't seem to pry the back of the wood trim out to slide it out the way. I'm probably just being too cautious cause I'm scared of messing up my baby.

Be careful, but don't be afraid, I popped my RR door card off a while back and it was no big deal, just don't gorilla it and you will be OK.
And, be careful with the tree type push fasteners, they are easier to break than the wood trim finish!
