Rear Internal Brake Light
#2
I have a 2000 VDP. Mine fell off a while back, it has two metal tabs, sort of like the tombstone that holds your rear view mirror on. I bought two rear view mirror adheasive kits and re installed the little metal tabs, then re attached the light.
The biggest issue was cleaning up the old adheasive and properly following the instructions on the kit. I've had them fail before.
You can probably also find a glass installer or auto shop that will do it quickly and fairly inexpensively.

We covered this before and gave some options on how to do it. Sadly no one commented on my excellent "piece of cardboard" approach :-(

Then, about a week later, my Brake Light fell off!
and I proceeded to cut some cardboard... hehehe Ok, it is a good temporary fix.
After a few days I glued the tabs back on, and it's been set ever since.
Don't even try to glue the tabs back on while still in the brake light housing. You MUST remove them to glue properly.
