Default Rear quarter window

anyone know the best way to remove the rear quarter windows? does the chrome surround around the windows come out with the windows?

To access the rear quarterlight windows for removal, you need to remove the 'C' pillar trim panels from around the quarterlights. The trim panels are a push fit into the body frame & need to also have the reading lights removed & the passenger grab handles removed. The trim panels are quite a tight fit so prepare for some plastic breakage on the rear where the mountings are located.

The rear shelf needs to come out to give enough working space, so the rear seat back & seatbelt mountings will need to come out. To do this the rear seat base will also have to come out, so the lower rear seat heelboards will also need to come out to access the rear seat base securing Torx-headed bolts! You should end up with something like the photo below:

When you've finally done all this, the quarterlight itself is removed by spraying on a special lubricant & then cutting the adhesive-special tools are suggested for this. Refitting also requires special glass adhesive & tools to apply the adhesive.

Yes, the chrome is part of the window part.

It is called a SIXLIGHT GLASS for ordering purposes.
