Default Rear subframe front bush collapsed ?

Hello. To me my car rear subframe front bushes are collapsed? Rubber shoulder doesn't touch the support bracket but there is no much space there. In picture car is standing on its tyres normally. Picture is a bit dark but I think it is usable.

I would hold a small mirror above it so you can look down into the top of the bushing, and get a view that way. Or if you're really unsure, you can lift the car up, support the subframe cross memeber with a jack, and undo that side bracket (4 bolts, but these can be tough) to look directly at that bushing.

Just looked at mine, it does have a gap there, replaced maybe 30k mi ago.

Thank you for the picture. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I'd say that I have 1/4 of that space you have between bracket and the bush rubber.

That's for the front subframe, the part number you're looking for is MJA2595AC. ~$30 on Rockauto for URO, or ~$60 on Terry's for OEM.

Hmmm... Strange that they list the rear bushing under subframe MOUNT.

Many thanks indeed for such a full and considered reply. Yes I can with confidence put ticks against the various points you've raised. The car has only just kicked over 112,000km and I service it at every 10,000km or 12 months. For the ultra long drives like my recent 8,500km I actually had a full coolant change and system pressure test as part of a service I had done roughly 500km before the trip and then a simple oil change immediately on return as temperatures were up as high as 40+C.
Touch wood its been an absolute joy of a car.
