Default Rear suspension alignment

2000 XJR; Recently had a four wheel alignment done and was told the rear suspension was out of alignment. I was told that there was no way to align the rear as no adjustments are available for the independent rear suspension components.
I have previously had such alignments done and no such issues had ever appeared.
Does a rear subframe exist on this car to which some adjustments could be made or cause the rear to be misaligned?

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X308 forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

The answer to your question depends on how exactly it was out of alignment. Is that a secret?

And in my opinion, taking it all apart and shimming it, when the camber is even but slightly out of spec due to lower ride height from old springs, is ridiculous. Might as well shim it every time you put something heavy in the trunk.

Rear toe is dead-easy to adjust using the eccentric bolt. Rear camber adjustments are more involved. I too was told (wrongly) that no rear adjustments were possible when I paid for an alignment after replacing my steering rack. Rear toe on my rear passenger wheel was off enough that the car drifted slightly on the highway after the front alignment. I ended up adjusting it myself and it tracks straight as an arrow now.

rear toe is adjustable. so is camber but not for the alignment inclusive price. I would never recommend unless camber is close to -2.0deg. Even then just drive harder in corners.
