Rear wheel bearing?

Default Rear wheel bearing?
I just started hearing a rubbing / squeaking noise which seems to be coming from the rear LH wheel bearing. Are these bearings generic or particular to Jaguar? In other words, do I need to order OEM parts?

I addition to my last post, how easy is it to check the brake pads to see whether the noise is coming from worn pads? I'm not particularly handy, but always willing to get my hands dirty... so please keep it simple!
