Recommendations for ' 01 XKR Brake Upgrade

Recently retired and now have more time to enjoy my ' 01 XKR. Would like to upgrade the performance of my brakes. I've talked to the local Jag dealership here in Greensboro, NC but they are reluctant to make any suggestions other than staying with OEM parts.
I've started my own research butfound it to be a bit dauntingas there are numerous brake pad, calipher, rotor combinations to consider that would yield better stoppingperformance but have increased noise and dust levels to combat. Moreover, some of the aformentioned product options are not compatible with the car's specifications.
It's enough to make a guy want to go back to work - well, sort of. Mostly cruise with the wife but occassionally will take advantage of the car's potential. Here's where shorter stopping capability would be reassurring.
Would really appreciate advice.

The XKRs seem to have just a few less options, but there are still plenty out there. I remember seeing most of the same brands matched up with my xk8 (non-brembo) brake options. I upgraded my front rotors with EBC brand (smooth, not slotted or drilled) and went with Akebono Euro's on all four corners. I didn't notice a huge increase in stopping power, but it dramatically reduced the brake dust. I believe the Euro's are ceramic. The EBC Red Stuffs had improved braking performance, but doubled my dust over the OEMs. Not worth it for my type of driving.
Just do lot's of googling, and you'll find plenty of options for your '01 xkr. Good luck.
