Default Remote causes “beep”,not working

Running around doing errands today, stopped at one place, remote fob works perfectly. Next stop...BEEP when I tried to lock the door remotely. Locked it manually, could not unlock or remotely open trunk. Just a BEEP.
Checked all doors, trunk, car is in park, etc...
All taillights working, etc, so not thinking SLM.
Any help would be amazing, as always!

Before jumping into the SCLM I would try a couple of other things. The SCLM is seeing something open and giving you the appropriate indication.
I would get a can of spray lube and spray down the door lock mechanism and the key opening, as well as the trunk key opening and the trunk lock mechanism, then move onto the roof latch mechanism. Somewhere a limit switch might be hung frozen and telling the SCLM that that lock is not closed even though it is.

I use WD-40 with success, wouldn't recommend in New Hampshire winter but should be fine in Florida.
