I'm not finding a source for a repair manual for the '01 XJ8, other than the online site Mitchell1. Can anyone recommend Mitchell1 or point me to a source for a good shop manual for this model?
I don't want to rebuild the motor, but would like a good reference for brakes, suspension, coolant and electrical systems, etc.

I have JTIS for all four of my Jags, and the factory shop manuals for the XJS and the X300, but I find Alldatadiy.com to be the most useful. In addition to what JimmyL said, they have essentially the entire shop manual, schematics, and parts references in the online form. I only use the other sources when I can't get online for some reason. BTW, the Alldata site has pretty good search and print features, so you can research what you are working on, and print what you need to take to the car. And you can get it greasy without worry, because you can print it again!

Try this one http://www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Work...uals/JCD-1.zip
It covers the following : XJS 1995/96, X-TYPE 2001-2003, S-TYPE 1998-2003, XK 1997-2003 , XJ 1995-2003
Make sure you have some bandwidth available as it is a large file.![Icon Bike](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_bike.gif)
