Replaced my front undertray, impressions and some question
As the title states, last night I got around to installing the new undertray that my 2000 XJR didn't come with. Bought the URO piece from partsgeek.com. It's a very nice piece, fits great, appears to be high quality.
First note: You don't need their recommended hardware kit at all, which is just some plastic rivets.
I was lucky in that all but one of the little nut-sert clips were still in place even though I'd been driving it without hardware in for months. If you don't have the hardware anymore (like me), they accept an M6 bolt, so I just went to the hardware store and bought some stainless M6x12 bolts.
It's so nice not to have the stupid inner fender liners flapping in the breeze anymore! There's a noticible increase in my radiators efficiency too. I highly recommend replacing this part if yours is missing.
On to the questions:
1: There is a center spar on the undertray that goes back towards the oil pan with 2 holes in it. Are you just supposed to zip tie the undertray to that tubular support bar that's right there using those 2 holes?
2: Anybody know where I can buy those little clip nut-serts that go on the tabs at the bottom edge of the front bumper cover? I'm missing one and it's bugging my OCD.

The nut-sert clips are part number JZM100016 (retail Jaguar dealer price is $2.80).

The zip tie (Tiestrap) secures the undertray to the crossbeam front brace:
