Replacing (EGR) Transfer Pipe Instructions

Looking to find out if replacing the EGR pipe (Part#AJ86857) is something that can be accomplished on the XJR without having to pull out a lot of the parts. The connection to the EGR valve is a little hidden, hence looking for some guidance from folks who have done this. I have the EGR code on my vehicle, checked in with the dealer, and was told that this pipe develops cracks over time and is the potential cause for the error code, so looking to close on this to get the amber check engine light gone for good

The egr valve may need cleaning. What is the code?
I had a XKR apart recently, and I'm not sure if it's practical to replace the pipe without removing the throttle body. Since I was replacing the egr valve I already had it apart, but I bolted the pipe to the TB before putting the TB back.

Hi,
The codes are P0400 and P1000. I just recently had the EGR valve changed. Is there anything else I should be looking into to address this or is the transfer pipe the culprit? I spoke with the dealership and was advised that tracing EGR issues can be tricky and quite time consuming

The other symptoms being depicted by the vehicle are a) rough idle at start up b) often loss of power when stepping hard on the gas pedal. I will be cleaning the throttle body over the weekend with the hopes of eliminating symptom (b). The MAF sensor has been changed, not sure what else to look into to get rid of these two codes.
