Hi, my oil pressure sensor on my 308 is leaking and I have the replacement. draining the oil now and going to remove oil filter for easier access. Just wondering if there are any tips on how to remove this thing and/or install new one. I have searched the site, just want to make sure there's nothing I;m overlooking. My local jag mechanic said they were a bit of a bugger to put in correctly without damaging them. anyways, cheers!


p.s. this is a north American car if that matters at all.

 

I got the orange wired plug off. what size millimeter is the sender, 20mm? can't get a wrench in there, has to be a deep socket.

 

22 mm looks like. the one I didn't have until a quick trip to the store.

 

all done, no leaks so far (touch wood) and no error codes. definitely a DIY job, easy as an oil change. thanks everyone for your help, lol. cheers.
