Congrats! Not my cup of tea, but it's a nice car.
One thing that I would like to ask,......how do you plan to keep it rust free in IL? Trunk and bumper are not a problem to replace, but it looks like the rear quarter got crunched. I see only two possibilities there,....either do some straightening of the existing one (with fair amount of bondo!), or cutting it out, and welding a new piece. Bondo has a problem with moisture building up, drying and cracking(as I am sure you know), and welding is a different problem. All the cars I've seen welded, rusted from inside out (impossible to treat the back side of the weld) in Minnesota (similar weather to CHI).
I'm sure you considered the options, but I'd like to hear your plan on this. Maybe the body shops have some new tricks up their sleeves (it's been a long time since I dealt with one in the Midwest).

There's a ton of posts on the UK forum about these cars rotting, also paint issues around the c post, door panels and all shuts where paint reacts.
I'm thinking about a 358 TT diesel for daily duties
Good luck with it!
