Default Scottsdale area indy's??

Our best friends just relocated to the Scottsdale area (Desert Mountain) with their beloved 1999 XJ cab. As most Jag owners have experienced, too many Jag dealers are reluctant to spend the $$ to train their techs and too many really don't want to service earlier Jags, like our friend's. So finding a competent indy shop that's equipped with the training and diagnostic tools is a challenge.

Any suggestions of such a shop in the Scottsdale area will be appreciated. (FYI-our friend's car currently has a CEL, and occasionally says "Reduced performance" on the message center.)

Thanks in advance.

Relinuca,

Tech Plus Automotive is very good. They are located at: 7333 East Butherus Drive - B200 in Scottsdale, AZ. 85260 (480) 535-7684 (In the Scottsdale Airpark). This location will be close for them.

I am currently experiencing the EXACT SAME "Reduced Performance" in my Message Center...and my engine is "hesitating" and driving "slowly" on 45MPH Main Roads like: Scottsdale Road.

I'm interested in what their "Reduced Performace" issue is. My car is a 2001 XJ8.

Regards,

W. Paul

Thanks. I'll post the findings/fixes (and by whom) once the problems are corrected.
