Seals, Rings, etc., for Evaporative Flange Components
I have had a devil of a time trying to locate seal, rings, etc. for the Evaporative Flange as I am trying to put my gas tank back together. I am wondering what others have done when re-installing these components. I am trying to replace the seals, etc. because of an error code indicating that there is an evaporative vapor leak. All the components had lots of play because the gaskets were all original.
Here is the diagram of the Evaporative Flange and Components:
This diagram is from the Repair Manual and NOT the EPC. The EPC DOES NOT have a proper parts diagram for the latter XJ8's that used this system and associated tank.
OK, here we go.
Item number 1 has two seals. One is a flat ring and the other is a large round, thick O-ring.
Item number 2 has a "collar" type seal that fits into the flange that the component pushes into.
Item number 3 gas a "collar" type seal that fits into the flange that the component pushes into.
Item number 4 has an O-ring that goes around the plastic housing.
I have checked with Welsh and Jagbits but they have not been able to figure out what part numbers go to these rings.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Check our website out and click on the 'un-illustrated parts' section. Hopefully some if not all of what you require is there.
