Seat Heater Question
1998 XJ8 VDP, 129400 miles and still going strong.
My driver side seat heater is not working. The passenger side front and both rear seats work fine.
The control on the dash lights up, I can hear/feel the relay click on, but no heat. Does this mean the heating element inside the seat is shot? How involved is it to repair/replace?
Thanks.

RE: Seat Heater Question
Forget my post about the seat heater in your other post then... yes you have a bad element. You may be able to bypass the seat bottom if you want and just have the back heated. Or you are looking at several hours work to change the element which I just priced for my 03 XJ8 at a tune of $140 for the element alone. For that much money I may fit an aftermaket seat heater that has more than one heat range.
