I was reading on here that there is supposed to be a red security light by the gearshift on the console that flashes when the system is armed. I can see where I think it is, and I was going to be taking apart the console to change bulbs on the climate control, so I thought I would ask if it is a replaceable light? If so, does anyone know the part number?

 

so no one knows if there is a flashing red light on the console or has ever replaced it?

 

The red flashing light is on the RHS of the 'J' gate. You'll have to look closely if it's not working as it blends in well with the black trim. You should see it flash when you lock/unlock with the remote control. That's assuming it's working!
