It's located in Dubuque, IA. It's silver and in very good condition with 145,000 miles. I've been offered $3500 trade in from 2 different dealers in Dubuque and Madison, WI both of whom have test drove it. So I will sell it outright for cash for the same $3500 if there's a Jag lover here that wants it since it IS the somewhat rare Sport model.
I have it listed locally for $5000. One way or another it will be gone in approximately 2 weeks when I receive a $90,000 insurance settlement from Nationwide for a semi crash 2 1/2 years ago and buy another vehicle.
It does have a small chip in the front bumper easily fixed and the driver's seat is a bit worn with a 3" tear in a seam of the beige leather. It could be easily fixed as well. Just haven't done it yet.
It does have a custom REAL cold air intake with carbon fiber 3" tubing and large Spectre filter, an electric vacuum pump for better crankcase ventilation, as well as an ADD1 version 3.3 dual clean side port Catch Can all of which add increased performance. It is otherwise stock in very good condition, no oil leaks, with very good 265/40/18 tires and has never been driven in salt or winter. Absolutely NO Rust! Everything works, it runs great, has a brand new Die Hard Platinum battery bought 6 weeks ago, and no CEL. I will also include the perfectly fine 900CCA Interstate battery I replaced just because. I am very **** about taking care of my vehicles and no expense is ever spared.

You will like the RRS/SC; depending on year. Older ones were better (problem with tensioners and fuel pump on the 5.0L variants). Good forum too. But lot of them in CA; so expect loads of **** for your liberalism concerning environmental laws. . .

The 2 I'm looking at are 2011 and 2013. One in northern WI and one in Tampa, FL. I may look at others too.
As for the fuktards from the people's republic of kAliFornIA, I can hold my own and welcome the fight. Mainly because the fact is, those laws are indeed detrimental to the wellbeing of ICEs. It should be a state issue and the feds should butt out. Here in the Midwest, we have plenty of clean, fresh air and don't care to wreck our engines because of CA's smog problem. Bottom line is those laws won't be enforced here anyway so...

Thing is, even people from CA dealing with the smog change their tune about these laws once faced with the indisputable evidence that what they're being told about them NOT causing damage is simply, false and misleading. Even they don't want to pay the price these laws cause.
I designed an external breather system for Harley's EVO engine that involved moving it to the cam cover instead of the heads and being used to this day by Harley owners all over the world including CA.
I think the vacuum pump/catch can system I designed for these cars is a well designed one as well.

XJ8L is gone. Traded it in but not for a Range Rover. Instead I got a Mercedes GL450. Better reliability and handling for a big *** AWD with plenty of power. Couldn't beat the price either. It's an 08, 121,000, paid $6,000 and the Jag.
