Yeah-if you don't let Sandy get this car then I might just come over & warm your engine up quickly using the Torque Converter as a load

Sandy 200km are borring for the cat, on my trip to Genua i put about 650km on it, one way
Sure i can pick you up at the HBF
I had a 1995 DD6 with the V12 & GM 4L80E gearbox-awesome car & one I'd definately recommend for Sandy. I could easily jump in & do 1000km trips in it with no problems.

I have a Bentley Turbo R with the same gearbox & it does cope fine with the monstrous Bentley torque from the Mk4 Zytek-managed engines, all 553lbf/ft of it (or 750nM if you like metric!).

Go get this car Sandy-I'll maintain it for you cos I had one myself for 3 years

Pick up at HBF? What's wrong with the U-Bahn Young Lady?

Gearboxes on these cars are nothing to worry about. Easy to service, and cheap parts. Engines are the sweethearts,.....the ONLY thing I would be concerned about is rust. I've been spoiled by the American Southwest, you can hardly find any rust here, except on the ocean.

I thought that's one of the reasons God put them on the earth?

You are right! This being a car forum, with bunch of guys talking cars, I am not used to teasing that comes natural for them. They've been created like this from the start.

And here we are,......a whole bunch of guys waiting in breathless anticipation, what kind of car picture "Sandy" will come up with.

If I would be a "SoCal Wiseguy" (as "Sandy" called me), I can almost see myself opening another membership on this forum, creating "Sandy", or "Cloe" and drive you guys nuts! Balancing carefully between covert innuendos, mixed with just a little hint of sexuality, and the hardened "car guys" WILL go at each other's throat!

But,......I might be wrong (I am on the rare occasion!), and willing to admit that my "paranoia strikes deep", if one can prove it to me.

So I am inviting ALL of you to order "Sandy's" calendar, and post a picture of it on this very same forum. And the picture better include the envelope the calendar came in, postmarked from Stuttgart.

And "Sandy" can only do one thing,......post a picture of herself in a bikini, holding "Stuttgarter Zeitung" clearly showing the front page with the date. If all this comes together, I will publicly admit that I am an "Old Paranoid *******", and change my name accordingly on this forum.

The proverbial "ball" is now in all of your courts (especially "Sandy's"), and I will sit back and see what happens.

Sandy appears to have been banned & half her posts deleted, so the question is academic now anyway...

Drop a girl in any male-dominated environment & Mother Nature will ensure the predictable next set of events.

Nobody's shelled out any bundles of folding for anything & no hearts have been broken, so no damage was caused & the entertainment value was priceless...

Back to the broken 'A' drums & plastic tensioners for everyone, I think

My "nose" was well trained by the best in that field, and it never failed me so far. Something "smelled" from the beggining, and being blunt as I am, I called it. Nobody PayPal-ed monies for the "calendar" to Nigeria, so it's all good.

"Metal Goddess" however is real, and according to my mechanic who met with her,....drop dead gorgeous!

"Sandy" was too cute and too coy to be true. Ahhh,.....I think we'll all miss "her". The forum became WAY more entertaining with "her" on board.
