I've had the same problem going-on three years...and no one can figure-out the problem. I've had three NEW throttle bodies put in, eight new coils, and still the hesitation/slight miss problem occurs. It actually goes away for about 13-months after a new TB, but that gets rather expensive since Jaguar doesn't replace it for me on warranty.
I'm at my wits-end on this...
I just had a 100,000 mile check-up; new plugs, belts, the works...including all new coils.
Any ideas on what I tell the dealership to look at next?

Mine seems to happen between 55-60 MPH. If I hold the car steady at that speed it will surge a small amount. Over 60 and smooth as glass. I've cleaned the TB, MAF, fuel filter, part load breather-I gues next are the plugs and coils. Anyway to inspect the coils without just puting in new??

Don't bother with the coils...I've replaced all eight in the past 12 months and the problem still exists. I am taking my car back to Atlanta in the near future and let the dealership have it for a week to see if they can duplicate the problem and come up with a solution. I will let everyone know if it gets fixed.
Again...don't waste your money on coils; I've been that route. As I said in my earlier email: it is rather suspicious that a throttle body replacement always cures my problem for about a year. This all started with Jaguar recalling the TB; I never had the problem until the recall.
