Got $644 total for the two off of my parts car. Surprised less than from the 2002 XJ8. I was thinking more because cats would have to have more capacity for the higher flow.
I've been dealing with convertors for years and the price is all over the place each one has a number which tells them what's inside, or how much precious metals. 30 years ago the Big GM ones used to go for a couple hundred. Now God only know what they are. I've pulled 14 cats off several cars, and trucks, I've scrapped over the last five or six years. I had them appraised about 3 years ago, and going by the numbers on the side of them, I was told I had over $600 dollars then. I'm thinking very seriously of checking them again. They might be worth some more.
These cats are off the 2011 Camaro SS I’m using for my LS swap. Probably going to use on the swap. Got a quote from recycler just to see how compared to Jag. High Jag cat $545, low Chevy $33.

GM's generally have the bead type catalytic's, that is they are full of little beads instead of precious metal pieces. They do have ones that fetch a hell of a price, trucks mainly, but small & medium size cars tend to have the beads.
Resurrecting a bit of an old thread but: I just sold the two cats from my 2000 XJR to a recycler here in Austin for $276 total. Was a better price than that quoted a short time ago from the same place the OP used. Price of rhodium has come WAY down over the past year, along with a bunch of other of the metals used in cats. If I were to sell the four cats I saved from the donor 2012 Camaro SS, they'd net me about $80-90 total. Good thing I'm reusing them for the exhaust once the LS3 is installed.
I guess was lucky with timing. Rhodium currently $4,500 per ounce. Was $15,000 per ounce when I sold mine. In March of 2021, $29,800 per ounce. Paladium 1/2 the price now as when I sold mine. Platinum about the same.
