Sorry for the poor audio at the beginning. Maybe with good speakers you may hear something...

If you don't mind, how are you adjusting the AFR?

Just with FPR and ECU makes the rest. Later also with MAF. Two wideband lambdas and gauges, one per each bank, helps a lot.

That is a nice run!

Just so I'm following along and I'm on the right page,
AFR? Is that air to fuel ratio?
What is/are Blue tops?

AFR: air/fuel ratio
FPR: fuel pressure regulator. The orginal one can not be adjusted.
Blue tops: Nickname for special valves to MB 722.6 transmission, which makes shifts faster specially. Not so big effect at WOT upshifts. Downshifts can be too harsh for some people and they change back to orginal "brown tops".

When there is zero wheelspin with max revs against the brake ie. ~1600rpm , it goes in ~4.2s or a bit quicker. I got a couple such a starts on clean road when dropped the pressure of fat street radials down to 1.1bar ( 16PSI ). 0-62mph and 1/4mile have nice correlation for 11-16sec cars when no major traction problems. Add 8s to your 0-62mhp ( 0-100km/h ) time and you get your 1/4mile time. That works pretty well for most rear wheel 2wd cars.

I was already wondering where are you WD - when we are talking about performance issues

0-100mph, well, based on the calculation of the gear ratios and tires used it should be when revs reach 5540rpm on 3rd gear.

That run was not with max launch since DRs pressure was 2.6bar(38PSI ) and launch revs 1200. But anyway should be close to 9s at the best. Unfortunately gear ratios do not match very well to 1/4mile at the moment. Shift to 4th comes just before the end and no time to revs enough high. SteveM made trap speed of 119mph, so he is already well at the 4th with a bit smaller tires. Maybe I really need 100hp shot of nitrous from 2nd gear to go fast throught 2nd and 3rd gears...

I will try 1/4mile at least Aug 16th or maybe already Aug 9th. Full mile comes after a few more weeks. That will be interesting in this shape.

Awesome performance!

That is a lot faster than I did, by quite a bit.

Must feel nice to have it running as it should finally

I've been playing with my little toy miata. Started at 83 rwhp, now at 160 rwhp @ 2200 lbs. About 11.9 lb at the flywheel per hp.

Big upper pulley, ie. low pulley ratio, ie. moderate boost. And still stock MAF. It's still not a 11s car...

May be not 11s yet, but lots of fun to drive.

I assume a larger maf is coming soon?

Hopefully soon. I have here two different bigger MAFs to choose. But I reached air flow of 400g/s today when made some final tests for tomorrow 1/4mile. It can be limit of stock MAF or the gauge, not sure which one of those. Two weeks ago, when middle part of exhaust was off, we found that someone has put 56mm metal gasket between downpipe and middle part. This has happened 2012. The right size is 63mm. So, 25% of the exhaust gases has hit that barrier and created big extra backpressure. I think that we found at least few extra HPs.

Tires should have better grip now. They were maintained with tire softener by five times. Waiting for Saturday's 1/4mile and a bit better airfield track. Target with current "low" boost: 12.5X / 113. That requires ~1.95s 60ft.
