Autozone can not read ABS codes. You need a Jag specific code reader for that. Dealers and foreign car specialty shops are your best bet. The following reference will help you diagnose the problem, which is often to repair the ABS module.

If, when they read the codes, one of them indicates ABS pump circuit failure, it will be due to solder joint in ABS module. Plenty of DIY info on this board. The wheel sensors might be dirty, but not likely from sitting. A bad connecting cable is also a possibility. The reference to Jagrepair that I mentioned previously should help.

Autozone is beginning to replace their scanners with ones capable of reading ABS codes. I recently asked if they had a loaner scanner that could read ABS and Shelinda (77586) told me the new scanners could read ABS and we did an ABS scan and it indeed showed ABS codes.
Took my other car in to be scanned a few days later and the guy told me the scanners could not do ABS scans even though I already had one done with the same scanner. I guess that is the difference between those that care and those who do not.
Most shops price their ABS scans at $49 so it is a big savings.
