Subframe movement

Subframe movement
I have read many posts on the subframe bushings being replaced and wanted any insight.
As I replaced by lower bushings on the shocks I jacked up the car at the jack point right behind the front wheel. Before I lowered it on the jack stand under the subframe right behind the front a-arm mount, I examined the v mounts and surrounding area. Everything looked fine.
I did notice that when I lowered the car onto the jack stand the subframe moved about a 1/2"? Is this acceptable or should there be absolutely no movement? I noticed the v mount compress some. Btw I only jacked up one side at a time if that makes any difference.
Thank you,
Chris
