sunroof adjustment, steps for 1999 x308
1999 x308 .
The sunroof at the leading edge looks to be 1-2 mm higher than the roof line, the rear is maybe ok if not a little lower than the roof line. I need to adjust, but i understand I need to remove the interior trim of the underside of the sunroof. I need to tilt open the roof and withdraw it externally from the tilt opening rear.. is there anything i need to remove..spring/clips before i yank it out? I cant see anything.
Once out i then adjust the screws along the side to control the height of the sun roof to the roofline on the exterior.
Should the sunroof be flush on the leading edge or higher or lower to avoid water build up / noise?
advice on the adjustment is appreciated.
best regards
Peter

The inner panel does remove by tilting the roof up. You need to be very careful releasing the catches the hold the inner trim panel and removing the panel. The mechanism that slides the panel is cast metal and the tabs holding the panel break very easily.
Once you remove the trim panel it is easy to adjust the roof panel. It should be flush with the roof all the way around.
When you reinstall the trim panel you need to be super careful not to break off the front pins. Make sure you see the panel properly engage the pins before you apply any motion to guide the panel to lock it into place
