Sunroof Problem. Please Help!
Hi all,
I have a1998 XJR. I've had this problem with my sunroof for a while and figure I should just work on it to get it fixed. However, I worked for hours, took it apart and still the same. Anyways, the roof opens and close without a problem and it is in good working condition as far as that is concerned. However, when the roof closes it would close normally, then tilt back down after it closes completely and would leave a gap opened at the rear of the roof. How I close it back to completely seal tight is I must slightly push/tap on the close button and get it lined up as I watch from outside the car or above the roof. Plus, if I try to get it to tilt, it would not fully tilt like it normally did in the past before it had this problem. Has anyone every experienced this? Can it be something in there that may have broke? Any ideas? I've taken it apart thinking its not aligned correctly, put it back together over and over again and still the same. Please help with your skills. Thanks much in advance
