Supercharger Removal Checklist

Supercharger Removal Checklist
I have the dreaded coolant leak under the supercharger.
Don't have the money to pay the shop the thousand or so they want when I'm already so far upside down on the car. Going to have the neighbor help me.
I found the thread on the supercharger removal.
What else should I do or look at while it's off. It's had all the tensioner and timing work done less than a year ago.
Saw something about changing the oil in the SC.
99 XJR 77k miles.
Thanks
Brian

There are (2) knock sensors that are easily changed while the supercharger is out. Also, the hose that runs under the supercharger on the driver's side connects to a plastic fitting that breaks easily so it is recommended that you order it with the hoses - it is only about $3.00. I have the part # at home if you need it. Mine did not break when I changed the hose
It is much easier to drain the re-fill the supercharger oil with the unit removed. The oil is available on ebay or GM dealers at reasonable costs
