Swap engine to newer year 1998 to 2000 xj8

There were some big differences between the two.. One of the most significant was the variable valve timing: from the two-stage variable cam units
to the continually variable cam timing design. The injectors are air shrouded and seem to atomize the fuel better with a larger number of holes. however
the only real benefit from this change was getting the vehicle through the state emissions inspection. The pistons have larger cut outs which accommodate
the 8 deg earlier intake valve opening, even though these do not seem to be present on 3.2 and supercharged cars. The AJ27 has the 3 angle valve seats
and would seem to flow a little better but in reality, I don't really see that it made much of a difference. Also, the intake cam period changed a bit from 240 to
230. The coil packs are different with the AJ27 having four-wire coil packs where the AJ26 had two-wire coil packs.. When you look at the two engines you
will notice the AJ26 engine had a large throttle vacuum reservoir that you won't see on the later AJ27s presumably because the cruise control as electronically
controlled by the ECU on the AJ27. And then of course there were several connectors that were different.
Higher capacity oil pump is used to feed the new design VVT units with more oil pressure.
EGR valves elmintated for naturally aspirated models and retained for supercharged models only.
