Default tapping noise after tensioner change

Just wanted to know possibly what this could be. Engine at cold start will do the same tapping noise. I changed both secondary tensioners which were worn out and original yesterday and until the car is warmed up it will tap. I can accelerate to 1500 rpm and it will make a whirr noise and go away. I have read where a VVT can cause this like its sticking. The car was sitting for almost 2 years with bad fuel pump. I am not worried about the engine because the chains had NO slack at all in them and new tensioners, oil changed and all runs good. just wanted to know anyones opinions.

tapping until 1500rpm IS VVT - some say going up an oil weight quietens this but it's something to live with.

yeah only on cold starts, after it warms up its fine. I am going to change the oil a few times because the engine needs a good flushing and all after sitting for 2 yeras and I believe previous owner didn't maintain either. The cam shafts looked a lil dirty.
