Default Tensioner pictures... new or old style?

I've never seen closely how they look. Just by pictures. Look new style to me. What do you reckon?









And finally... what do you reckon this means ? (Under valve cover)

These are without a doubt the new style metal bodied tensioners.
Looks great!
