Default Throttle body removal and installation in "real time"

Hi there,

I did my throttle body yesterday and filmed it at the same time. Just incase some people want to see how it is done. All real time. Only a few cut scenes, when I rushed indoors or so and which wasn't relevant...

The reason behind changing your throttle body did you increase the size ?

No, mine was dieing. I had coldstart issues which wouldn't cause any fault codes. It would drive like a gem when warm but when cold just stumble. It would also "randomly" stall...

It seems like it. Cold start was perfect (or better purrrrfect ) and no backfiring this morning (at -2°C).

So I assume it works

Only thing I've noticed: kick downs seem to be a little sluggish now. Before I could do a random kick down just by "nudging" my foot a little rapidly. Might just be "learning" at the moment.

Yeah, that is what I expect. I've got to check the long term trims as well yet, as they were around -15%... I assume something was dead (ether the potentiometer or the idle valve) or dieing.

I was told that it is common, that a dieing TB doesn't cause any fault codes...

Make sure that wot position of the gas pedal actually opens the breather butterfly to fully open. If not remove slack from the cable until just a hair before the idle speed position causes the flap to open

The pedal opens it fully... The cable hasn't stretched nor has the plastic outside shortend Everything works as it is supposed to.

I've got to try it on LPG yet. With fresh LPG it drove like normal (no issues). Just got to see how the cold start feels.
