Hello all,
I'm still trouble shooting. My 2000 XJR (AJ27) when started from cold runs and sounds beautiful.
However, after the engine has come up to operating temperature a tick tick sound
begins to come from the large opening in the front of the passenger side head that is connected to the thermostat tube.
Could this be secondary tensioners or worse yet primary chain and guide issues. I'm wondering why only when warm.

Could be, best to remove the passenger valve cover and check to see if you have the original red/brown plastic tensioners.
