Default Ticking corrected?

I've read through several of the older threads concerning this issue.....Now, has anyone actually corrected the problem? What exactly did you do? Thanks!

Are you referring to the VVT ticking around or below 1500 rpm? That is usually addressed by moving up in engine oil weight.

Yes, I will be moving to a heavier oil next oil change. I topped-up with a little Marvel Mystery Oil earlier and it seemed to help a bit...
