Considering the relative complexity of these engines a little bit of ticking is probably OK. The secondaries are replaced. Let sleeping dogs lie.

And replace the 20w/50 with 10w/40 before the MN winter!

Well, let us know what you find. It would be nice to have the luxury of being able to take your time and work on it instead of needing it to get to work and back every stinking day.

When when I bought the tensioners it did come with shorter bolts.... But I better check. That would be funny, tear it all down to find out it was as simple as a bolt(s) that was just a bit too long... I think it was as tight of a seal as you can get but I better check.
