Default Too much of a perfectionist?

I just got the leather restored on the 2 front seats of my XJR and they look great. Here's the dilemma, the XJR has perforated seats in the middle and the crack filler and redye covered a lot of the little holes. Would it be OCD to a crazy level to take a pin and painstakingly repoke the covered holes? I took a closeup pic so you can see what I am talking about....lol.

It would bother me as well and probably have the seat repair person poke the holes

It'll wear off, my seat job lasted about a year before the worn spots are showing through again. Looks to be a annual thing for this job lol.

Edit : Punching holes would just weaken the seal of the clear & dye & likely lead to stress cracks/lines over time, likely the whole reason they were dyed in the first place lol.

It only lasts a year? That sucks!

Those seats look beautiful in their "as new" state, I'd be looking to clean up the centre console lid to compliment them. If you want to try and preserve the finish for as long as possible, consider getting a set of seat covers to use for protecting the seats. When I used to use my 308 as a daily driver I used a set which have a soft lining, only removing the covers if I was going somewhere nice or on holiday.

I still keep on top of the care for my seats using gliptone leather care, as I mainly wear jeans which can increase wear on leather. I'd be dubious about dying my seats as it's mainly black or dark blue clothing I wear, and I'd be concious of it rubbing off onto my clothes.
