Exclamation Transmission Fault!!!

Hello Guys! Major Issue. Tonight while I was driving, Restricted Performance came on (Like I was telling everyone earlier..sort of on and off..every once in awhile during the week.)

Well, that light came on--then the Transmission Fault came on--on top of that and put my care in "Limp Mode". Well, after about two minutes, the "Fault Lights" went off--but has left the CEL light on and the car refuses to exit Limp Mode. I tried to check the Transmission Fluid about 3 months back (But couldn't find it) I figured I'd come back to it. Well, now that I need to--I still can't. Can someone-- A. Tell me what is the most "Probable" reason the fault has come on (Given the relative good care my car has been in) and B. How to find my Transmission Fluid stick or level? I'm really in a mess, and need to know what to do going forward, if I must, I swear, I'm about ready to tow my car to the Jaguar dealer 50 miles south of me.

This sequence of events does not necessarily mean you have a transmission fault, you cannot check the level yourself, and you do not have access to a code reader if I recall your previous posts correctly. Tow it or blow it.

if you dont have a trans leak, the fluid level "assume" is okay, I have yet to find differently. You need to read codes, could be an unrelated(engine) code, shifter, trans temp sensor torque convertor, etc.....
Oh, and that a 1000 posts

I took it out for one last "hopeful" run tonight, and as soon as I started her up--and got out of the driveway, my Transmission was back in action--smooth as always. This changes little however, as I am definitely scheduling myself in this week to go down to the dealer. However, anyone have any sneaking ideas of what this may be..just so I have it in my head...going down..Thanks.

And put into laymans terms--that means what Brutal? And what would be the primary cause of it? Very curious. Sorry, just not very fluent with the code readouts yet. Thank You very much though...
