A better question would be along the lines of...
"What may be a typical labor total for 'worst case' scenario"
Labor rates vary from free (DIY) to a dealer service tech (upwards of $125 an hour...and that can even vary depending on City) and everywhere in between. Hard to give a cost based on a regional difference,t that's what jagtechohio was trying to get across.
Obviously parts are extra, and won't be know until you get it visually inspected.

Guy calls me last week for a serpentine belt replacement. $80, parts and labor.
I replace his belt, he tells me one of the other independants in town who works on a lot of Jags quoted him $240.
Local labor rates, parts profit margins, and honesty are all variables. For all I know, there isn't anyone in Oxnard Ca. smart enough or honest enough to sell the guy only what he needs.
What repairs are going to cost is what the guy fixing the car says they are going to cost.
