I was wondering why this forum does not have a transmission sticky - looking over at the XK8 forum they have a nice sticky and it even has links back to this forum.

As more people become first time XJ Jaguar owners the links would be a valuable addition. Both of the 308's transmissions are very susceptible to first time owners well meaning maintenance operations.
