Trunk light out!

Trunk light out!
Just had my first oil change, the car is running flawlessly.
But, the trunk light is out. It worked fine before the change, and I am wondering is a switch got toggled or a connection got unplugged...
Where can I start checking connections? I don't know my way around cars much but am willing to poke (gently) around...

Check the wiring that runs along the RH boot hinge, that is a common area for wires to snap. I had this problem, and I solved it by making the wires slightly longer when I put a repair piece in, then wraped the wires in a length of narrow rubber hose to protect them if they got caught in anything.
It is very unlikely that the oil change will have had anything to do with your boot (trunk) lights. S.
