Trunk will not unlock
All of a sudden, the trunk will not unlock with the key. The buttons have not worked since I pushed the "Valet" button. I have been unable to "un-valet" the system, trying most everything I was told. Perhaps I need a "weird" solution? But really, all I want to do is get into the trunk!

Try some WD 40 on the trunk key lock. You can remove the license plate and open the
latch with a long screw driver. I think I used the upper right slot to do it. There are old threads that talk about it as well. Don't remove the back seat to gain access, that does not work. Once the trunk is open, you can fix the electric latch and the mechanical key
latch. They have 2 separate arms. There are some plastic clips that break easily. If broken, the trunk won't open.
