Now I had to replace my driver's side front turn signal part # LNC4801ADLH. I bought off of eBay & received 2 different colored lights both clearly marked the same part #. One was the correct for me amber color & the other was a much darker amber looked to be tinted or smoked but it is most definitely OEM & not simply modded. Did Jaguar offer 2 options ?!
The only thing I can think is that one is US standard, and the other is European standard. Here in the US we accept red turn signal lenses, but in Europe they are amber.
Are there any signs on the darker one that it has been lacquered over?
No it appears cast that way, this is a US spec car as well. It's amber but a smoked amber, just odd it has the exact same part # as my normal hued signal. Did any of the XJR or sports have factory smoked lenses ?!
